Dear friends and supporters,
In the final days of 2022, we were still working on huge news items for you so that we could start 2023 on a positive note.
Our association has been running the “Craftsmen of Hope” project since the flood disaster in 2021.
Since the brutal war in Ukraine, there has been a group in Dresden supported purely by volunteers, “Direkthilfe Dresden”.
It’s incredible what these people have achieved in 2022:
- 13.04.2022 – Information evening for third-country nationals from Ukraine and their volunteer helpers at TU Dresden
- 09.04.2022 – Malteser Reception Center (30th High School Dresden)
- 08.04.2022 – Donation of medication to children’s hospital (Khmelnytskyi)
- 05.04.2022 – Support for Impreuna e. V. Ukraine (Poland)
- 29.03.2022 – 4th transport Ukraine (Khmelnitsky)
- 25.03.2022 – Delivery to AZ Conni
- 25.03.2022 – Transport to Uzhgorod (Ukraine) supported
- 22.03.2022 – Transport to Uzhgorod (Ukraine) supported
- 19.03.2022 – 2nd bus trip of Direkthilfe Dresden Slovakia (Košice)
- 18.03.2022 – 3rd transport Ukraine (Khmelnitsky)
- 17.03.2022 – Support for Impreuna e. V. Ukraine (Khmelnitsky)
- 16.03.2022 – KGW Sila Kobiet in Barcinek near Jelina Gora (Poland)
- 09.03.2022 – 2nd transport Ukraine (Khmelnitsky)
- 05.03.2022 – 1st bus trip of Direkthilfe Dresden Slovakia (Košice)
- 04.03.2022 – 1st transport Ukraine (Khmelnitsky)

This is just a small excerpt from her entire work.
Due to the double burden on everyone involved in the project and the difficult financial situation caused by a drop in donations, they set out to find a partner in order to preserve the network of supporters and volunteers for future aid campaigns.
We are proud to have been chosen!
From 2023, “Direkthilfe Dresden” and “Handwerker der Hoffnung” will run as one project at ZIVD e.V., the “Direkthilfe”.
Our principles and the principles of “Direkthilfe Dresden” are harmonized. In future, we will use this project to send aid shipments and missions to wherever they are needed, whether in Germany, Europe or elsewhere. Wherever people are in need, we want to help and support them!
We would be delighted if many of the old supporters of “Direkthilfe Dresden”, together with many new ones, would use the start of the new year to make a powerful start together and help people in need.
In the next few days we will rebuild the homepage of DirektHilfe Dresden, as well as the associated platforms!
